After owning independent books store Esmeralda in Del Mar for 13 years, Carole wanted to create
a store grounded by books and design. SoLo offers the largest selection of architecture, interior design,
cooking, art, photography and lifestyle books in San Diego county. Taschen, Rizzoli, Phaidon, Beta Plus
and foreign presses are just some of the publishers represented.
